Effective April 1, 2022, reservations will be cancelled for no shows if campers are not checked in by 3:00 PM the following day.
What is a walk-in site?
Jalama Beach offers A walk-in site is a basic or hookup site that is first-come, first-served. These sites may not be reserved online, through the Call Center, or through the Jalama Gate. Walk-in sites are not shown on the map or on the public reservation site.
How do I obtain a walk-in site?
Available walk-in sites will be sold as soon as the gate opens at 6:00 AM.  Campers must pay for their entire stay at the time of check-in.  There are no day-by-day renewals.  The person whose name appears on the campsite must be the same person registering, checking in, and occupying the site. Once a walk-in site is sold, it must be occupied by a tent, trailer and/or vehicle no later than 3:00 PM on the date of purchase.
If I can see walk-in sites on my search, does that mean it's available?

What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of making the reservation are eligible for a full refund. For Camping and Day-Use Parks, reservations must be cancelled a minimum of three (3) days in advance of the reservation/check-in date in order to receive a refund minus a $20.00 cancellation fee and non-refundable reservation fee. All fees paid will be forfeited if a reservation is cancelled less than three (3) days prior to reservation/check-in date. For Courthouse Wedding Reservations, reservations cancelled at least 60 days out will be refunded the full site fee minus the non-refundable reservation fee. Cancellations made at least 3 days out up to 59 days will be refund 1/2 the site fee minus the non-refundable reservation fee.
